Allegheny Riverfront Green Boulevard Public Meeting #2
The Allegheny Riverfront Green Boulevard Plan will be hosting a second public meeting on March 15th, from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at The Grey Box Theatre that will focus on introducing new concept alternatives for landscape design, recreation programming, and transit options throughout the Green Boulevard, and focused land use and urban design alternatives for the 43rd Street District of Lawrenceville. Community members are looking to give feedback on these different ideas, and help direct the plan toward a single, preferred direction.
The Green Boulevard Plan will determine Allegheny riverfront park access, open space programming, neighborhood design, and the types of transportation modes that will be options for Pittsburghers for many decades to come.
The Green Boulevard project is a 20-month planning process that began in July 2011. Community engagement will play a guiding role throughout the process until completion in February 2013.
